About Me
My name is Sloan Courington, and I am from the small town of Corner, Alabama, just 30 minutes north of Birmingham. In May 2025, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations Communications and a minor in History. I have a passion for understanding and sharing the stories of the past to create more informed and meaningful communication in the present. I enjoy crafting compelling messages and curating events that engage audiences with authenticity and purpose.
At Auburn, I immersed myself in a variety of organizations, studied abroad, and took part in a rigorous curriculum that sharpened my skills in media writing, strategic communication, event planning, and digital content creation. I also developed a strong foundation in storytelling, cultural awareness, and public engagement through both classroom learning and real-world experiences.
My undergraduate experience was nothing short of amazing, and I’m proud of the well-rounded communicator, collaborator, and creative thinker I’ve become. I'm especially passionate about blending historical perspective with modern strategy to create campaigns that resonate deeply.
When I’m not working, you can find me on trips with my friends, designing in Canva or Adobe Suite, or spending time with my two black labs. Feel free to learn more about the organizations and activities I was involved in below!

First Year Experience Leader
As an Orientation Leader, I focused on building meaningful relationships with incoming students and serving as a supportive, trustworthy guide during their transition to Auburn University. I took pride in being a leader and resource they could rely on, helping them feel confident, welcomed, and connected to the Auburn family from day one.
